Silver Sneakers Brings Senior Fitness to Tehachapi Gym

Seniors, it’s never too late to improve your health! With programs like Silver Sneakers and Silver & Fit at our gym in Tehachapi, adults will find that exercise is fun – and good for you, too!

Silver Sneakers and Silver & Fit group fitness classes at Tehachapi Fitness are led by certified trainers. You can work out at your own pace, exercise in a seated position, or lean on a chair for stability. There will be props you can use, too, like resistance bands, to improve your strength and range of motion.

Staying active is the best way for seniors to stay healthy, and at our Tehachapi gym, you’ll find other ways to exercise besides group classes. If you like to ride bikes, our cardio training area features indoor cycling. Take a hike on a treadmill – it doesn’t matter how fast you go – or try out a rowing machine. Be as brisk or slow as needed – movement is all that matters.
